the fire escape is what first drew my attention. the way it has that diangular ine. If I can get the right light again, I’ll try to get a more detail shot of it.
I should add that brick work of many of the buildings in Bellingham are amazing, in large part because they were built around 100 -125 years ago, the oldest 154. When they built them to last.
Lucily most of the buildings in Fairhaven like this one have historical designation and can’t be razed. Most have been turned into business / office space. The pricey condo are now popping up around these buildings, but at least they’re trying to blend the outside looks of them with the “ambiance” of Fairhaven.

It’s good these buildings get some recognition before they become pricey condos, or are torn down to erect a glass box. (K)
